Lets hope they receive the full force of the law and get the maximum possible punishment for their disgusting treatment of all those poor horses and dogs. Many of which did not survive their ordeal at the hands of the Peels. When I remember that woman's ability to portray how wonderful they were, and how special and loved their horses were to them, I feel physically sick.

Let us all hope they both get jail for their horrendous crimes against the poor animals that they treated so badly.

We don't know what we will be able to find out really kharidian. Up until now it has been a wall of silence from RSPCA, for fear of jeopardising the case. We hope once the case is over (that's praying it doesn't get adjourned) that RSPCA will cooperate in matching horses (dead and alive) with previous owners/breeders. Fingers very firmly crossed all goes well today.

For those that had horses in their care the wait is almost over to find out what has happened to them, must have been an awful time just not knowing, I just hope there is justice for those that didn't survive and that the people responsible get punished.

I hope justice will be done and finally someone will notice that at least one member of that family has a pattern of neglect and they are banned from keeping livestock/animals ever ever again.

A terrible day for all those with horses caught up in this.

We have had a closed group on facebook for those of us who have had horses with them; sadly most of us will find that are horses died horribly. It is a great day for us but please can we all be very careful as if the case is adjourned anything that might jeapordise a fair hearing would be awful after all this wait to (hopefully) see justice done. It would be catastrophic if they got off.

Not really Kate, but at least things are progressing in the right direction , with more charges based on new evidence it looks increasingly like jail , I would still rather have live horses.

Not knowing whether your horse lived or died must be absolute torture for those affected. I cant begin to imagine it.

What difference would it make to the case if the RSPCA let the individual ex-owners/breeders if their horse is still alive?

My heart goes out to all waiting for news, I can only imagine the hell you are going through. Our judicial system seams slow and frustrating but all we can do is trust in the outcome. Fingers X

We all just pray justice will be done and they will never be able to own any animal ever again. If there are more charges so that the sentence is harsher then it is worth the wait.

My heart goes out to all affected by this case...

I have lost my faith in the justice system as sadly in my one and only experience of it, we were let down horribly. It went very poorly indeed and we are still living with the impact of the outcome...

No sentence, however harsh, will be enough justice for those poor horses and the ones who loved them and are suffering still.

I pray to the Gods of Karma.....

I know how I feel about having lost my precious one, I can't imagine how those of you must feel who are still waiting to find out...

Here's hoping justice is done good and hard.

It was adjourned until 3rd July so we still wait. There were more findings coming to light. The good thing is that they will to wait longer for sentencing and the more charges they face the worse for them one hopes. In the meantime we all have to show restraint (so I can't kill them, just joking) until after the case so that they get a fair trial (as if they deserve it) otherwise it could be thrown out of court so we all have to just seethe quietly until after the case and then it can hit the media big time!!!!
