Here is my straight Russian (60% Polish 40% Egyptian, don't ask!)
Not sure what thread her daughter would go in as she's 50% Egyptian 40% Polish and 10% Spanish!

I saw a picture of this horse somewhere before and was amazed by it then. The markings are amazing. What a correct typey arab this is |

| parkvilleneroq5, (Rui, might be able to find the link), we did a Russian arab thread a couple of years ago which ran to many many many pages. Some amazing Russian's on there, a lot provided by Robbie den Hartog of the Kossack Stud in Holland with pictures taken at Tersk. My Russian boy Barabinsk is in my sig pics as well |

Here is Merlyn, who is approx. 50% Russian. Such a lovely natured horse with that fab large movement!! He will be 6 this year. I can't believe where time has gone, it doesn't seemt that long ago I bought him, but he was just a yearling at the time!

Thanks Rui. Heres my boy solitaire sr, his dam ltf wings of joy is straight russian and i believe his sire Psy Dream has both russian and egyptian breeding.

Tiger has some Russian in there (egyptian x russian) although have no idea on percentages

| lovely pictures of gorgeous horses everyone, have to say i love the russian bloodlines my fav of all the arabs. My stallions got at least 25% russian in him with crabbet and polish lines too, and boy does he have the russian trot |

I've had lots of Russian over the year - you've got to love 'em !!
Here is Atiffa who is actually Egyptian related but her grandam was the Mukomol daughter Barmensha who was out of Buhta who in turn was a grand daughter of the amazing Taktika - a fantastic racing line :))
And here is Ruth OD who has an amazing Russian pedigree being by the Veteran son Laszlo who was out of Proba who was by Balaton out of Palmira(dam of Poznan and Peleng) and the dam of Kais. Ruth is out of the Abakan (Balaton) daughter Nadenova who was out of the beautiful Kapron daughter Vienna :)) Vienna is out of Badja who was by the late Margaret Evans' Nadeem so we have abit of General Grant and Rissalix in there too !! She sooo looks like her pedigree !!

Not sure what the future holds for the 'straight' russian with Tersk gone? I know I'm biased, but I think the Tersk bred horses just have that something special, looks and character
