We'll be there, for the Mares in-hand 4 yr and over, taking a baby who is four today, so not expecting too much against her more mature friends, but you can never tell ( and it all supports these shows and promotes the Arab), and for the Mares Open ridden Class (29). Mazie has only ever entered four classes, (1 novice, pulled in second placed first - 2 county shows against mares/geldings/stallions 2nd and 6th, and at Hocon where she was pulled in second, and placed 6th as she is a little unfit after a recent accident Been working on her fitness and will continue to do so
Look forward to seeing you all there |

Had a lovely morning when we finally got there with 10 mins to spare lol Ori decided not to load there and back madam!!
Very happy with our 2nd in the PBA/AA 2 and 3 yr olds but unfortunately I didn't pre purchase a qualifying card so does this mean we can't enter the wessex PBA AA show in Aug?x |

A fantastic well done today also to Robyn Walker with Jean and Dave Pecks handsome Dervatiw Gwyydion as they won the HOYS stallion class and were reserve champion. They also won the dressage class earlier and Robyn I know is thrilled to have secured their place at HOYS, a fantastic achivement for such a talented young rider and a beautiful stallion. Well done all, you really deserve it!

I had the pleasure of watching Robyn and Gwyd warm up for her dressage test. They looked in a league of their own, completely. Incredible. What a privelege to have seen them in the flesh after reading about their achievements. |

Hi Sazz, was lovely to see you yesterday, dennis is an absolute stunner!
I had a brilliant day, out on my 5 year old Luhka and he won the ridden amatuer pure bred class and then went reserve champion To say I was over the moon is an understatement as other than the SE Autum show last year this is Luhka's only other AHS outing!! In fact I was so pleased I did an extra lap of honour |

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is so kind of you all to put such lovely comments on here for Robyn and Gwid. We are all still on cloud nine, ten and eleven. I love to watch them together and as somebody commented they seem to be in their own world and thoroughly enjoying themselves. We had a very early start (Dave and Jean already had done the yard of horses by 5am when we arrived at the yard). Thank you to Jean for all her attention to detail and knowledge - she knows her horses so well. And a massive thank you to Dave who did a massive stint of driving and fab camera man. This really is a dream come true for Robyn and thank you again to all who came and chatted. See you all again soon. |

A brilliant, well run show in a lovely venue. Robyn and Gwid looked fantastic and well deserved their win, reserve champion and HOYS ticket. I bet Robyn was over the moon , especially after their recent (unjustified) results .
It was lovely to see that every horse in the purebred ridden championship had substance (whilst still retaining type) and actually looked like they should have a saddle on their back...a refreshing change to other shows I have been to in the recent past. |

Yes I quite agree re Robyn and Gwid's results! Very deserving of their wins this week! Looking forward to HOYS! I also heard that Plumbum was second in the stallion? He's another lovely boy I would like to take home...I know Sally loves him to pieces so I don't think there would be much chance of that! |

I think the award for widest smile for the second week running goes to Mary O'Rourke!!! Stephanie and Milly (Silvern Moonlight) had fab wins in the Crabbet classes at Newbury. I think Milly is so feminine and has such lovely movement. Due to their HOYS win at HOCON it means that we will all be together on our exciting trip in October. Dave and Jean must be very proud as Milly's breeders and joint owners. |

Have been looking out for the other ridden results and good to hear Plum came 2nd. Congratulations Sally - glad Plum is enjoying the season!
It would be great to get the results of shows in a comprehensive way - would it be possible for the secretaries to send in the results so we can see how the season's competitors are doing show on show?? |

Haven't ventured onto forums or anything before and didn't know if you were supposed to put real names or be incognito? I must admit it is nice to see real names for when you meet and put faces to names at shows. Jacqui |

Hi Jacqui Thanks for putting your name Didn't mean to cause a fuss but it is nice to know that there's a 'real' person out there! Stops me feeling quite so sad about my on-line life!! Judith |
