Please forgive me if I've missed something but is this show on the Saturday this year? 25th? I was expecting it to be on the Sunday.

I saw this as well - it really confused me. I automatically put it on my calender as being Sunday and then my mum was doing something on Saturday. Then I realised it was on on Saturday (major panic!)...luckily we rescheduled the other thing....phew! |

Just noticed that they are planning a for sale parade - anyone knows anything about this or what type/aged horses that might feature there????? Just wondering if it will be worth going..... |

The Horse Parade is going to be on during the lunch break and it is for people who wish to sell their horses, they can be ridden or in hand. You can write a small piece about your horse you wish to sell and it will be annouced over the speaker no more than 2 mins. So if you have anything to sell you better get it in quick as limited numbers. |

Hi Sarah - you can still enter if you missed the date - it's an extra £5 per entry. I missed it too by 2 days but have sent off now as it's a nice fairly low key show to take the little boy on an outing to with the loud big boy |

I hope I can watch the horse parade - but I will probably be warming Ettie up.
Does anyone know if you need to get a qualifying card for the riding horse class (balanced horse feeds) - i looked on the balanced horse feeds website and can't see mention of one anywhere. The schedule doesn't mention sending off for one or a price.
Just wanted to know as would love to qualify for it (though in order to do so I think I may need to be the only competitor or for some miracle to happen ) |

No qualification cards needed for Balanced Qualifiers. It doesn't cost you anything if you qualify - other than an entry fee for the BHF show in September! |

See you all there tomorrow. I'm doing the write up for the web site and newsletter, so if you have any interesting stories about your horse/s, proud of you achievements on the day or have any comments on the classes, please hunt me down! I don't want to do a bog standard 1st,2nd,3rd write up.
I'll have a red headed baby attached to my leg - unless she's in the very bright pink and orange buggy Or if you ask at the secretaries box, they'll point me out to you. Don't confuse me with my mum (who's the baby occupier!!) - she's not in her 30's !! I'm covering both rings so will be the only one with pad and pen flitting from one side to the other!! |

Can't believe its tomorrow - has come so quick! Good luck everyone
I'll be the one who is riding a horse that looks like a giraffe (we haven't quite got the hang of working on the bit when in exciting situations ) and has stars for quarter markers (ok they aren't very proffessional but they are pretty plus they suit Ettie's personality )
Good luck with your run sazzlepants

Hey Charlotte,
Sorry not to have replied to your text - my phone battery has died and I can't find my chaaaaaaaaaaaaarger
Claire (Cake's) boy Streem won his Novice and Open ridden classes and went on to be Reserve Champion - congratulations Claire he went beautifully
Nadia was 3rd on Erik - well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You were both fab - have you managed to tell everyone yet?!
Ummmm, what else can I remember... Fattan won the Novice geldings... AV Kubla Khan won the inhand 4yr and over geldings.... Alethea showed a lovely grey mare (by Krown, I think?) who won the mares... Sorry I'm useless, hopefully someone else will be able to add the results.

Alethea was showing our mare for us, VA Mia Valentina (Kordelas (PL) x TA Mirabelle (US)), the grey mare who won the mare class. This was her first time back in the show ring after a 6 year gap, so you can imagine how pleased we are with both "Molly" and Alethea, who has done us proud, in more ways than one.
A huge thank you Alethea, you are a star!
