Well, a couple of piccies of the girls....Crystal first, obviously!!!!
Crystal, sporting a rather fetching red bandage to stop her nibbling at her leg..

and now for Tasey...so grateful to Sjade for letting me loan such a sweetie pie mare!
Hiding in the Haynet

Rooting round in her bed

and another one of her eating....she is actually eating MORE than Crystal (if that is possible!!!)

jo...I'm useless with a camera....will get some better pics when she's out and working! Never realised what a difference a bridle makes, but it really changes her head, makes Tasey look more 'grown up'..if you get what I mean!!!! I'll try to get some of Tasey when she pauses from the munching! She really does eat more than Crystal...Crystal is on 3 big nets per day, Tasey is on 4 big nets per day.

Crystal is in love with Tasey already....and we had a little walk out in the bridle today...little trot in hand (as a practice for the trot up for ridden showing) and hoping to start lunging with saddle next week, and fingers crossed on to ridden in the next fortnight.

Well...got a couple of pics of Tasey today all tacked up (saddle and bridle) and it really does change her...hoping to be able to sit on her tomorrow....her milk has dried up, and she's really relaxing and enjoying herself.
She even rolled when I had mucked her out and put fresh straw in her box today...that is something I have never seen Crystal do in her box...seen her roll in the field, but not in the box.
I've left a radio on tonight, as there's a fair few firework displays on round here tonight....and didn't want them getting scared!

Tasey is a damn sight quieter than Crystal was....Tase ain't tried to kill me yet! Crystal did, several times, in the first week! going to lunge her tomorrow with the tack on...see how she takes it...providing we don't get interuppted by YO's HW cob thinking we are playing a lovely game just for her amusement!
We'll be fine...did you get the pic I sent you? She's a proper little poser...loves cameras, tried to eat my phone today! She does have a big trot....when we did a little in hand trot yesterday she really did power off with me....so may have to teach her to trot a little slower...I can't run that fast in my show boots!

Sam Tasey is an absolute little doll! She has settled well, eating fit to bust, and she has to be the nosiest pony I know of! She follows you when mucking out, her head isn't ever far from your shoulders, and hse even tries to grab the broom handle in her mougth to help sweep up! Andrew was mucking box out theother day and all Emma could hear was 'Tasey please stop following me, tasey no I don;t want you to help me sweep up. Tasey will you please take your nose out of my neck' and much more!" emma was nearly falling over with giggling at the two of them.
she really is a little sweetheart Sam and we can;t thank you enough for trusting us to have her here. Thank you a thousand times over. |

aww sounds like shes settled in well. I just know her trot will be amazing as shes got the conformation for it, even though i haven't seen her trot. shes going to be stunning when shes had a little bit of work and built all the muscle tone up. |

Honey she is stunning, she was trotting round the sand paddock the other day and she floated! Stopped everyone on the yard from what they were up to and they all came round to see her, she really showed herself off to all..................... our YO was nearly in tears watching her as it reminded her of Ludomino who she had for a while..........she really is stunning to watch......... but then I might be a teensy bit biased now....... |

yeah look forward to seeing her float. shes got very similar neck, and chest confomation to our yearling and she just floats, but tasey has shorter cannons, and longer forearms and fetlocks so bet shes even nicer. |
