can anyone tell me what width the red plate is in wintec saddle as my o/h trying one later but has a red plate in and i think he may need a size down looking at it
have a look on one of the mail order web sites as they state it on their on-line shopping. try R*bins**s !! don't want to get told off for advertising this is just an example.
Thanks ive been offered a wintec saddle with wide plate a month old 100.00 as owner mare overeached putting huge hole in leg and that bad tendon hanging out so had to have op and vet says can mend it but will never be ridden again so sad really
Yeah the mare is a x racer and did kiplincoates derby with 60yr old owner but he said he will breed another TB from her if vet says will stand up to it, a sad story as she is on part livery and was let out without boots, they apparently all knew she has boots on as goes loopy in field and first day they did it day after derby this happened, Tony is gutted but says as he is 60 and a carer for 92yr mother he will have her as a pet and if can get a foal he will if not then so be it
the lady who owns our old yards competition horse did this in the field and they thought he would be a write off but he is fine now a year on (although not jumping yet) so tell them not to completely give up hope!
