Just thought I'd share this .am looking after neighbours cat, they don't have a cat flap so have to let her in for food and a snooze if she wants one. I leave back door open so she can go when she wants, however, thought she had gone Tuesday looked for her and not seeing her locked up..as hadn't seen her wed morning didn't go round until late and was hit by the unmistakable smell of poo, not just poo but two lots on their bed..had to strip duvet cover and wash and scrub it desperate to get it dried in time so ended up taking dsown to the lady I work for and using her tumble dryer. Hopefully bedroom looks exactly the same ... they can be a bit difficult. Waiting for Saturday.

| I do yard owners cats when away and they have cat flaps so not unusual to not see all 3 cats when I go in. However one was shut in her son's bedroom only for 2 days thankfully but same outcome. When doing pets I respect privacy why check bedrooms? I would now if cat awol. You did your best cats have their own agenda x |

Sorry had to giggle, animals don,t you just love them  cats seem to be a law unto themselves and can protest sometimes. We have 2 totally different cats, one is a ginger boy whos 14 now and never been a bit of bother the other is a silver spotted british shorthair girl and is a devil who hates me when my OH is here but when hes away shes my best friend . |

Miss Cat is of the opinion that you are an excellent Cat Servant: she recommends you demand higher wages at once, and point out that The Cat told you that the bed linen was not clean to her standard, and you had to launder and re-launder to achieve a level of cleanliness which she found acceptable. . .

| I sympathize! I often look after a cat for some friends. Her name is Poppy, but I feel Poopy or Pukey would be more appropriate! She is basically a house cat (she's not too keen on being outside, but sometimes goes in the garden for a couple of minutes!) and has 2 litter trays, but she often manages to miss them both! She was rather inclined to throw up, upstairs or in the lounge, although she seems to have improved in that department lately! Her owners now put a waterproof backed picnic rug and sheets in her usual regurgitation spots upstairs and newspaper on the lounge rug! I think that has spoilt her fun! At least she is as bad for them, as she is for me! Hope you survive the rest of your cat sitting! |

I used to look after our friends cat ( they have now moved) first thing I would do is shut all doors so the cat can only use the kitchen and utility, they didn't have a cat flap as well, cat would be in by night and out by day would still miss litter tray and have most of the litter on the floor by the morning, if in the rest of the house would make a mess of the bed, just from hairs and bits that fall of a cat. Once found a dryed up poo on the hall carpet that I had missed, hence only allowed in 2 rooms.
On the morning my friend came back I would tidy, so it all looks the same as when they left, all doors open to rest of house. |

| Neighbours home now. Told her that naughty cat hadf jumped all over her white duvet with dirty feet and I washed cover, told me I shouldn't have so I coughed and said of course I couldnt have left it like that.. |
