Hi everyone just wanted to let you know that NORC Show on 17th August near Banbury has two low level (non AHS affiliated) showing classes for pure breds/Anglos/part breds, in-hand and ridden. So if you are local to North Oxfordshire and fancy having a go at showing your Arab please come and support the classes. Also lots of other showing classes, plus jumping and dressage etc going on, and entries on the day are accepted too (apart from the dressage)

I am Warwickshire about 40 mins towing a box from Banbury.. but I dont like showing classes ... I just cant be bothered anymore... is that lazy ? just too much preparation and anxiety involved imo. I will go for a hack instead. Sorry Sasha
Hi Heather that's fine, not everyone likes showing!
However, this is just a very little local show and there should be no anxiety or pressure involved for anyone - just the fun of showing your lovely Arab to the world . It's important we try and keep these 'local' classes going for people that want to show without stepping up to an AHS show - but without entries they will just disappear as so many others have

To far for me at present but I hope people come and support your class. I had 147 views on my request for local show support and only 1 person came in hand and 1 in the ridden. I hope to influence the committee to keep the class next year . Probably was not helped by the weather forecast of heavy rain - which appeared for about 4 minutes - torrential though - and some unkind person who put on Facebook that the whole thing was cancelled!! And all the profits are given to local organisations and charity!! Good luck we need local show classes.
