Hi Di, you may want to look at some of Daphnes foals, Ibn Silver being the Grand Sire, all being high % Crabbets. Take care, KAZ |

Hi Abbi, Your mare is full sister to Lightning Dark Falcon, who I owned from a yearling until last year.He is now 10 years old and my niece now owns him and he is doing endurance. Marbon Melissa was owned at the time by Jacqueline Buck in Lincolnshire ( who also owns Lightning Sky Warrior.) Jacquelne sold Melissa and your filly to a lady in Lincolnshire, who at a later date sold Melissa back to Diane. I wondered where Falcons younger sister went!! If someone can put a pic up for me, I will put Falcon on here too. thanks, Linda |

Falcon is magnificent Sasha. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all to go well for Melissa's next foal, due May 2012, by Marbon Majali Magician. |

Wow, Falcon looks really similar to Layla! (that's her stable name, if you're wondering - I don't really see why she's registered as Breeze, I personally think Layla is alot nicer) You can definitely tell that their related! I never actually knew that Jane owned Melissa, but I guess that's because I've never spoken to her personally - Lay had been put out on loan to a women in Norfolk, and then instead of being transported back to Lincolnshire to be sold, I bought her instead! |

A big big thank you to Diane Ellis for allowing us to be part of the Marbon legacy with Marbon Masadi, G Forgetmenot and their beautiful colt Marbon Mosaic all coming to Spirit Arabians, they arrived at 4am last Sunday and all seem very happy together in their new home, Di's hard work and determination over many years much of them very very hard being on her own will live on through ALL the horses she has bred, she truly has been an ambassador to the Crabbet horse and we wish Her a very happy and long retierment, Pics of the gang will be posted soon |

Thank you all for your kind words. Please keep the pics coming in. It is lovely to see those that have been sold as youngsters, growing up. I have found myself a really nice small house on a Green (with houses opposite each other) and out the back is more open green space and trees. It couldn't have been better for me. I have at last managed to get my telephone and broadband connected and can now catch up on the latest threads on AL. I am so grateful to Alan and Gina for taking on Masadi and G.Forgetmenot as I know they will be well looked after with them. It took them nearly a 24 hour round trip to come to me and collect all the horses belongings; then go on to Verwood to collect Masadi; and on to Chard to collect G.Forgetmenot (Topsy) and her colt, Mosaic. Now my little family are all together in one place and I am sure are being looked after as well as I cared for them. Alan is contstantly updating me and I gather Gina has fallen in love with the colt, Mosaic. Perhaps we will see him out next year in the show ring.
