Ann,
We had our holiday two weeks ago, one day to Cornwall, the Eden Project! on the way home we drove via Looe, over a river on a ferry, somehow ending up going past Herodsfoot. Just wish that I had called you, then I could have seen baby Aurora in the flesh. She looks lovely!

Thanks for your kind comments Jacki. I'm really thrilled with the filly, although I must say it's not a very good photo of her.
Sue - can't believe you actually drove past me and didn't call!!!
We could have had the G & Ts there and then! Would love to have seen you. You must have come across on the Boddinnick Ferry which is 5 minutes down the road.
Charlie's next show is the Midlands on 29th June - are you going there with Eddie?

Goodness, is it really that long ago when you bought Angel?? Remember those early days in the ring with our boys - Is Puff still with Marion? Banner is now 22 and still leaping around like a 3 year old, although I feel sure dementia is setting in!!
Sorry, went off topic there for a bit, nostalgia creeping in. The filly looks stunning, well done Angel. Aurora is a gorgeous name, a friend has just named her daughter that.
Are you at Bicton next week? If so I will see you there and catch up.

GREAT to hear from you.
Yes will be at Bicton but only transporting a colt, not showing. Will be showing at the SE Region the following weekend and then again the next weekend at the Midlands.
Glad Banner is still alive and kicking. I saw "Puff" (Blue Lucius to anyone else reading this!) last week, and he is still towing Marian around...... He's 24 years old now and still looks good. What good times we had all those years ago with them both..... better not go into too many details on a public forum!?!
Looking forward to seeing you at the weekend.

Hi again Annie,
Look forward to catching up with you at Bicton. Heard from Hazel and she lost Zane a couple of months ago - aged 26 - he died overnight of a heart attack. The way to go really!! Also Tifla went the same month.
Anyway, see you at the weekend, lets hope the weather cheers up. I am not showing either.

The photographer for Bicton, let them down again...he is so unreliable. I can take a photo if they don't move around too much, and if I have the right glasses on. Must be sunny, no wind and not too hot.

Looks like we are in for the long haul then! Would it be cheaper to visit cash and carry before Sunday?!
I reckon after this visit (or several visits) to the bar we will ALL be in the ring taking the photos! If all go in there mob handed somebody should get a good one (photo that is!).
I feel the mood is set .................. see you all Sunday......

Weather report for Bicton this Sunday is.......Very sunny and HOT, all day long. Chance of thunder and hail storms, but this is in the Sussex/Surrey area only.
