For those who knew Ben Carter-Mouat and know that he is currently living in Australia, I thought you might like to know that his wife Shae gave birth to a baby boy on the 13 January. Baby Hugo weighed in at 3lbs 2oz and was 2 months early!! All are doing well. When I figure it out, I will post a photo of babe.

Congrats to all!!! Welcome to Hugo. Will the new Granny be off to visit soon?
PS Jan 13th is a GOOD birthdate - our Natalie and Joanna were born then too - a FEW years ago!... |

Congratulations, how lovely, glad all are doing fine, used to know barbara Carter Mouet, well vaguely, we were at the same shows and used to pass pleasantrys and she had the most beautiful stallion, are you related?? if so please say hi and congratulations for me  |

wow wish him and his wife congrats on their baby. Tell Ben that Katrina had a little girl on the 6th December last year.
I'll have to tell Katrina and Sam about the baby.

This is like Deja Vu. It was me telling you at HoCon how I'd just had my little boy 8 weeks early!
If you need any really tiny baby clothes then let me know as I have loads and nobody to pass them on to.

Thank you everyone.
Yep, I am one and the same Barbra Carter-Mouat. Benjamin (now 28) used to be my groom at some of the shows. I am off to Australia at the beginning of April as the baby is not expected out of hospital for another 4/5 weeks and I need to let them get into a routine before I appear. Benjamin is showing a rather nice black stallion called Sobek for Rothbury Park Stud in Australia next week.
He was at the New Zealand Arab Horse Championships in December where he had 14 horses to show. Got 12 first and numerous Champs so at least he is keeping his hand in!
Benjamin started riding at 18 months old so it is hard not to start looking for a tiny weenie Arab for Hugo!!!! Of course, he is going to ride!!!!!!!!!!!! |

It has taken 2 people an hour to work out how to get this picture on here. There must be a simpler way!!!!!!!!!!!

Good news, baby Hugo is coming out of hospital on Saturday, just in time for Valentine's day. He is just over 4 weeks old and now weighs 4lbs 6ozs. I will try and upload another photo before he enters the showing scene!!!!!
