Without attracting the wrong kind of comment; why is it that there are so few foreign competitors in this ride? I thought the UAE/middle eastern contingent would want to excel in this, but for that matter European riders too. |

Hi Roseanne, Does seem a bit strange that we only had the keen Irish & Scots, not forgetting all the EnduranceGB members from all over the country who all like this Challenge, but, I do remember when the AE team was out in force at one of the very wet & windy rides last year (FEI160km(100m), by mid day the ground conditions were horrible & the rain continued to come down in buckets, at Lunch time they all packed up and went home..the rain & mud must have put them off, or thats what we all thought. I don't think they do mud & rain. I do think we'll see then all out and about at some of the coming FEI rides, I understand they are back in the country now.... Sue |

Sue
will give you the low down when I get in tonight.
Just one thing
Pulse penalties come in at 55bpm 54bpm and below on the first time of taking and you get no penalties, so Candy will have had a pulse rate of over 54bpm on each day
Mydass will get about 2 weeks off although may just walk him out down to the river and stand him in it.
talk to you later

Any idea who/breeding the grey is on the second water crossing photo (blue hat, bridge behind) could possibly be a 1 on the bib, so that narrows it down to 10 possibles
Thanks in advance. |

Number 1 orange bib should be "Corot" with Emma Sparks - by Shabaan out of Corisande.
Very nice gelding too. Retired on day two. |
