I did a posting with this heading last year - about wanting to go off & do a long distance ride & several folk replied.........well I just tried to bring it up again & nothing! Anyway - what with B&Bs I can't see me having time to take a week off to go away with neds to ride.........BUT.....I have new routes to explore here......would be much more fun with company....if anyone fancies a few days in wild mid Wales to ride one of my neds with me over the hills & home again?
I would love to do this but unfortunately I haven't ridden in quite some time since I lost my nerve and I would be too nervous to get on a strange horse and wander round the countryside as much as I love the idea!
I am surprised you don't have millions of offers!!
Judith, if I can get time away from the boys I would love to come down for a couple of days if you would be happy with that ! I'm very allergic to cats though? Not sure if I've ever heard you mention cats in the house or not?

Ooo Judith you know I'd love to if I can get time off work when it suits you. I'm going over to Carols (Dinkidoo) tomorrow for a wee ride on one of her gorgeous bunch(hopefully!) so I'm at least a step nearer to riding again
Jen - we have three cats - but they live in the barn - don't come in the house at all. they are in the barn where my stables/tack room are - but you don't need to touch them!
Sarah - so sad to hear that you have lost your nerve.........but if ever you fancy having a go again my Arab Rowan is abso wonderful - a real confidence giver - & I'm a great baby sitter of nervous folk!
Ooh, Judith - do you really like babysitting the sadly nervous? If so, I might try and book a weekend with you next year (holiday for this year rather limited) and see if you can work some magic on me if you'd be willing...

I'm between horses - older retired chap and baby just being backed. Also between houses and stressed beyond belief
I have loads of holiday to use up as soon as we exchange houses. I was promised a few days at Ragdale to chill out but a keen ex endurance rider I would love a couple of days of happy hacking for miles! If you have a willing neddy and a bed I would love to come for a couple of days and can fit in mid week round your B & B.
Bit out of shape but will bring Radox and Ibuprofen and don't care

I need to go to Wales this summer to do some work and can think of nothing better that shedding the suit and donning the jods for a couple of days!!I am off on my holidays ( with OH, Kids friends etc etc) next week but would e mail you on my return.Do you drink red ,white, ..?? polly
Grey Girl...yes - I am so nice to nervous riders.... I have the patience of a saint so they say! LOL I am good at reading folk & totally understand nervous riders eps those who have lost their nerve....I've lost mine in the past & overcame it....took ages though....so I know what it feels like!
