He books me in for around 6 weeks before he leaves; but knows I can't confirm as I don't have my rota that far in advance.
Anyway, I sent him a text mid-week to say I'd lost the appointment card and when was I booked for? He replied the same day to tell me 20th July at 0800 - I had to text back to say I was working an Early shft so couldn't make it so he booked me in for 18th.
However I noticed today that (due to the lush grass) Roger's hooves have gone berserk - overgrown/clenches up/all a bit loose and he won't go another 10 days. I texted my farrier today to explain and tell him what days I could make this coming week - he's already replied and booked me in for Wednesday at 0800! He'll be 5 minutes early, cheerful, kind to the horses. No wonder he's not taking on any more clients.

Sounds liek my Farrier!!
He bends over backwards for his clients when you need him urgently, I love him he's great and always cheers me up no end, full of laughter and never has a bad day, if he does he never shows it.
Wouldnt swap him for all the tea in china

Lol, sorry Quarabian - I meant he makes an appointment for approx 6 weeks time, before he leaves the yard. Sorry!

Have to say our Farrier Dan is exatly the same. very effcient and always on time. I am the one who forgets lol. I put it on my phone and he give's me a card. Luckily im usually there anyways
I find the same with our dentist and our back lady and riding instructor as well all very good at what they do and reliable
thankfully
