Last week managed to have my first 'after work' ride out - the start of getting fit for summer. Rushed home from work tonight hoping for a repeat performance only to find Raf has been kicked in the field and now has a man boob and a sore shoulder - ouchies. Foiled again!
Never mind, I'm grateful it isn't any worse, dread to think what would have happened if he'd been kicked on the leg ...
At least we made it to Sherwood Pines at the weekend and had a lovely ride, despite the hail storm , and Raf's new Comfort Zone cooler did a great job!

What a disappointment for you. As you say it could have been worse. I hope he recovers quickly and you can get out and about again soon. |

Hopefully he will recover quickly - when it happened to my old boy I thought it was a real show stopper, but he was fine at a 20 miler a week later |

Thanks Callisto, that's encouraging. We're hoping to do the Peak District 32k NCR in a couple of weeks, so fingers crossed! |

Best of luck with him, i have the opposite problem, the horse is ok but i have a trapped nerve in my neck so riding has had to stop , horse is now happy eating grass in the field. |

Oh I'm so sorry Sab2. I've suffered with that in the past and it's no fun and such a nuisance. Hope you get better quickly x |
