Anybody know how to get rid of it, without 'going under the knife'?

Woule like to get rid of it as would like to do some showing in the future, and it looks unsightly. Its on a three year old's legs.

Thanks for your help

When you say proud flesh, do you actually mean that, or are you talking about healed scar tissue?

I have used copper sulphate crystals to very good effect on proud flesh; however I was only shown what to do by my old YO so I don't actually have veterinary experience. I would, however, quite happily use it again on either of my boys if the need arose.

P.M. me if you want more details.

Hi Caryn

Yes, it probably is healed scar tissue as opposed to 'real' proud flesh. I have been putting some manuka honey on it, but just wondered if anyone else had any better ideas?

I would go with the copper sulphate mixed with a drop of disinfectant (and water of course), works wonders on old lumpy scars.
