I am so pleased that Alex has done so well today with Mandareine at Bolton Arab Show. So far this season they achieved their qualification for BACS at their first show in Warrington, won a ridden class at Caerwys agriculatural show and today exceeded all my expectations by getting NCPA and British home produced ridden qualifiers, qualifier for Midland group sponsored young rider championship at Malvern, won the open mare class and then went on to be reserve ridden pure bred champion.
Not bad for our little home bred mare that had never had a saddle on till July last year, then was turned away for the winter, and has only been re-started since April.
All credit must go to Alex, who has had the patience to train her kindly to the standard she is now, and is improving and learning it seems with every stride she takes.
For anyone interested in her breeding she is by the stallion we had for 13 years, Manavah (Manar / Parivash) out of my kids first pure bred Arab, Reinatta ((El Attorlando /Cherrain)
Manavah is internationally qualified in hand and got a fourth and fifth the only two ridden shows he did with us. Reinatta is the dam of an internationally qualified ridden gelding, and Mandy's full brother won the Novice shield for jumping over the season last year.
Alex will I am sure make her mark on the ridden Arab scene, this is her first venture into pure bred Arabs and she has a wonderful rapport with the mare.

| Hi Pat .. i will see in my fotos if i have got some more pictures of Alex which i am sure i have,,as i noticed your mare straight away and i thought both horse and rider looked super . i dont know your mare or alex but they cetainly caught my eye,, just going to take a look ,, back in a min |

The mare is the image of her mother, with even more high white! I never ventured into ridden showing with Reinatta, but even with an old fogey like me she got some equitation and jumping rosettes, we have left things a bit late to start her daugher's ridden career. Mandy's dam got lead rein equitation rosettes with my neice, then 6. they led her round the showground, next thing I saw them (ages 4 and 6) riding her having climbed on wall to get aboard.
I love the temperament in this line.
I am so pleased Mandy's being such an angel for Alex, shes been fond of her for such a long time its nice to see them with a few ribbons. |

| Thank you very much, I am inept with a camera and currently don't possess one. I relied on my sister who was a professional photogrpher (once) but she lives 350 miles away now! |
