We've just got back from the Northern Groups Amateur show today, and what a day it's been!
Lovely people, gorgeous horses and the weather's held off too 
We took out veteran stallion El Rashid for a bit of fun; for an old man of 20 who's not been shown for many, many moons and is, to say the least, lucky to be here ....he is a star
As we expected, younger stallions beat him as he now has a "hammock" back due to neglect prior to us rescuing him...but he trotted his socks off round, and round, and round that ring....and the rest of the showground!
Big thanks to mum , and our special old man who is still a true showman
Can't wait to see the piccies.....

So dissapointed we couldn't make it today had two entered but had a few probs , hope you all had a great day sure you all did as I know it's a great friendy atmosphere.
Hopefully be there tomorrow.

Hi Sam,
Oh didn't know you were taking rashid!! We would have held out to see him.
We took Angel (Angelic Bint Aazari) this morning, but after trailer problems we missed the class. Bit gutted but guess it wasn't meant to be. She was good all day (considering it was her first show and first time off my yard!) so at least it was good practise:)
Hope to see you tomorrow at C show!
