Could anyone tell me if there are any Arab sales coming up as a friend of mine is looking for a new horse after loosing her mare a couple of months back. Not sure where to look if anyone can help that would be great. She has looked on Arabian lines without any luck. Thanks

| Don't know of any sales specifically for Arabs other than the race ones at Ascot. I'm surprised she hasn't seen anything she fancies on here cause if I was in the market to buy there are lots on here that look fantastico! |

| Perhaps she should try a Wanted ad on this site, being clear about what she's after - the last one I sold, I didn't even get round to advertising because I found his perfect person in the Wanted ads!!! |

What is your friend looking for? and could she be interested in buying outside UK?
I have a breeder friend who has to cut down on his number of horses, because of his health, and he has several good mares, fillys and colts for sale at VERY low prices.
The most expensive one of them is priced at aprox 3400 UK pounds, this is a 3 year old mare 95 % egyptian.
And they are not bad horses, he just needs to sell fast.

| She has looked on here for horses but a lot are out of her price range and we thought that might be another option. She is not into showing but she like hacking and is really open to anything. She does have a preference to bays. She has recently lost her mare that was in foal and a hefty vet bill at the end of it, so does not have unlimited funds at the moment. She is still very sad as she had her from young but hates being without a horse. She even misses getting up at six in the morning before work to do her. horse. |

| could she perhaps look to loan a horse if funds are a bit tight? i had my first horse on permanent loan for years, it can work out very well as long as everyone knows where they stand from the outset x |

| She did have an ad on here for loan with view to buy but only for a gelding at the time as she felt that she didnt want a mare due what had happened but now she is feeling a little better about things she feels that she would look at all rather that just gelding as she did not really get many reply's for just geldings. |

| I think she would really prefer a pure bred but you never know. She is like most of us on here couldnt imagine having anything but an Arab even though i think her husband would rather her get a safe old cob. I dont think this would ever happen though. |

Hi Natntaz,
There's another Arab horse sale at Ascot org. by Brightwells in August will include Arabs race and endurance bred and youngstock if your friend is still looking then.
Wanted ads are a good way to go. I have a 4 yr old backed filly who I adore and want a really nice home for her (not fast enough for racing bless her), e-mail me if your interested. My website goes live next week so your friend can see her on that if she's still interested.

Michelle has found her new horse, a beautiful bay colt by NABUCCO
he will have a very special home, Michelle will have the privilage of choosing her own name for him we wish them both lots of happiness,

Thanks to everyone who emailed me about horses for michele, as posted above she has now got a beautiful colt foal who will be home with her in a few months time. I am really happy for her as she really deserves this little man after her resent loss.
