The Lady Anne Lytton Trophy, presented to the "Leading Sire of the Year", has been won outright for 2005 by Psyche's Spirit and by a clear margin. One of the youngest stallions to have received this award, he is of great credit to his breeder and owner, Heather Brown, and we are please to award him with this important accolade. We apologise sincerely to Miss Heather Brown for publishing the incorrect results in the Yearbook. Our sincere apologies are also extended to the owners of the two stallions erroneously stated as joint winners in 2005.

We are so thrilled that Spirit has been given the recognition that he truly deserves.
At only 7 years old, in 2005 Psyche's Spirit (by Padron's Psyche and out of SL Sweet Emotion) had less than 20 foals that were of showable age. The majority have been shown. ALL shown are winners and the vast majority picking up a title in the championships. Around a third were with amateur owner/handlers.
The Vital Statistics(to 2005)
20+ judges (many international)
14 horses shown - 14 different Winners
picking up:
30+ Wins
20+ Championship Titles
Many thanks goes to all our clients especially those that contributed to this result due to their fabulous success in the showring - Well done! Also to our handler Barry Shepherd and of course to Spirit for producing all the fantastic babies.

Many congratualtion to Heather and Spirit. A truly remarkable achievement for such a young stallion. We are proud and delighted to own a Spirit baby, Psyches Superstition, and are eagarly awaiting our new Spirit baby due very soon.

CONGRATULATIONS Heather, Spirit and all the gorgeous babies!!! I always knew he was special from the first time I saw him at the Nationals as a yearling - and I'm sure he will go on from strength to strength, with loads more wonderful achievements like these in years to come.

Heather what a fantastic achievement and even more so as you bred Spirit.
I remember reading how you acquired his mother in USA and getting her in foal etc etc. This is just the icing on the cake. A well deserved award.

Well of course, he's made quite a good start in Australia
I would love to bring him out ridden at some point, I have been on him and he is a dream to sit on, a beautiful arch over his neck. But I need to find a lovely show rider and trainer that can come to my place. I don't like to let him out of my sight.
In the mean time I know that quite a few of you have beautiful girls that I know he would like to oblige, NO-ONE is ever disapointed.
