Posted - 30 Jul 2014 : 7:17:55 PM I rode Roger today on the same route as I'd ridden and posted the stubble field video on Monday. Joy of joys - it had all been cut and all the straw bales just taken off - that meant nearly 3/4 mile of fun!
On Monday, Chips had "only" done from the bit in the middle that I asked Rog to trot.....to the end. Rog knows all about stubble fields and didn't need any prompting and I'm embarrassed to say that I was a bit out of breath at the end but Roger wasn't

Posted - 02 Aug 2014 : 3:18:11 PM Baymops Lol, he did a little - was that when I told him to sort his legs out? He'd gone disunited peeping at the shadow.
Nichole - I tend not to put too much horsey stuff on FB - I could email you the YouTube links if you like? I've got your work email address.

Posted - 02 Aug 2014 : 11:22:54 AM Great video, nothing better than a lovely long canter. My boy would have spooked at the tree shadow!

Posted - 31 Jul 2014 : 9:03:07 PM LOL I thought you'd like that, Garnet. Considering we live in busy South East Essex, we're very fortunate. It's nearly as good galloping in harness - I've done that with Roger too!

Posted - 31 Jul 2014 : 6:00:03 PM That's what you call a stubble field! I can't ride any more but the other day I was driving Sam in the field where I used to gallop Garnet flat out from bottom to top and let him go flat out. Not quite the same but I still enjoyed it!

Posted - 31 Jul 2014 : 11:16:59 AM I'm impressed you can ride at gallop holding an iPhone. Spider and I would end up upsidedown in a ditch.

Posted - 30 Jul 2014 : 11:10:44 PM Lovely! But where were the big spooks at clumps of straw, suspicious sticks or shadows?! Just had to use that last smilie!
