Unfortunately my mum's horse has just gone lame and we were planning on going together on sunday.
I would still like to go but my horse is a big baby and probably wouldn't go by himself. I just wondered if anyone here was doing the 22km and wouldn't mind me tagging along?
I have called the organiser and she is going to ring someone who is riding by themselves - but she might not want company. So thought would post on here just in case.
My horse is not a natural endurance horse (he is an ISH) and so I won't be able to go round fast.
Hopefully I will find someone!

We trudged round the 30k in the mud and I spent ages staring at the undersides of Spiders feet afterwards to get rid of all the tiny bits of gravelly chalk! Some nice forest canters to make up for it tho werent there? |

Oh person I went with has just messaged me and said we did it in 2hrs31. So think at 22km that is about 8.7417 kmh? |

Oh sorry didn't know if was you Linda - the event was really well run and was impressed with how friendly everyone was. I had Enys' heart rate taken at the end and was 45, so not bad.
We didn't think our time was that good, though we didn't get overtaken by anyone during the ride...we had quite a sedate start but by the end we were whizzing along. Is there a way of finding out our time? (doesn't matter if not).
Thanks again :). Just hoping my mums horse is ok, as would quite like to do the one on 8th April. |

Hi Miska, saw you go out and come back in - my sister and I were the starters - Well done and glad you enjoyed yourself, off the top of my head your time was one of the better ones too  |

Had a fantastic day - managed to find someone through facebook and through the organiser and we matched each other perfectly.
Even though he is not an athletic horse he did the 22km no problem!
A great event and really friendly! |

Still haven't found anyone - have tried posting on facebook etc. Will probably just have to go and find someone on the day...let's just hope I can persuade my boy to start by himself |

My sister found her riding partners for Wentwood on Sunday by advertising on the facebook endurance group page. I can find out what it is called if you like or you could just search endurance gb?? Good luck xx |
