Posted - 11 Mar 2012 : 3:28:12 PM Well all you lucky people..how did it go??? I did see a number of you flying by. The weather I would think was pretty near perfect for riding although I could have done with the sun coming out on me at my post on the hill for a bit longer than 1/2 hour! Looking forward to my first outing now. |

Posted - 12 Mar 2012 : 11:36:33 AM Yes i twas me at CP1,crossing you all off outwards and then standing sentinel at the horrible metal gate for the return journey. I shouted as you went by "It's Spider" as I did not know your first name.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and I heard you all galloping and having fun up that hill behind me!!! |

Posted - 12 Mar 2012 : 08:14:01 AM Perhaps I'll see if I can enter today. I cant make Findon as on holiday which is a big pity because its just around the corner! |

Posted - 11 Mar 2012 : 10:26:19 PM Primrose's closing date is tomorrow - you can get an entry in online. It's a nice varied ride - woodland, farmland, some roadwork. It is a bit of a trek to get there, but worth it
Gate free!!!! (as far as I remember)
Findon is on the 8th of April - graded rides there |

Posted - 11 Mar 2012 : 10:17:38 PM Sandy - was that you on the gate on the way home after the Saddlescombe Road? Lovely ride, nice to see you again Linda. Are entries closed for Primrose? I've never done it because its a long drive, but realised that there isnt an actual graded ride for months if I dont do that one.

Posted - 11 Mar 2012 : 3:36:37 PM It was a great ride - the first time I've done Brendon TR in good weather. Lily's first outing for a year, and she was fitter than I expected and very keen , but on the whole pretty good and when she gets the hang of gates that swing shut on her it'll be even better. Glad you weren't frozen or soaked today Sandy. See you at Primrose! |
