Posted - 12 Feb 2012 : 11:32:21 PM Unfortunately we failed to get our entries in in time, and I understand it is now full, so our first outing will be Brendon, and entered for the 33km Novice CR at Primrose. |

Posted - 12 Feb 2012 : 10:10:47 PM I know - only realised we didn't meet when I saw your post.
Really useful day - didn't go for the full MOT day of bringing Cinny as I had Maggie out for a session a couple of weeks ago and had saddle fit last w/e after her visit. |

Posted - 12 Feb 2012 : 9:23:19 PM Was there as a helper, but also go to see some interesting sessions, especially watching the schooling session as has given me stuff to go away and work on - was nice just to be able to stand and listen. |

Posted - 12 Feb 2012 : 9:03:52 PM Lily and I made it . I was so pleased with her, she hasn't been anywhere since last April, boxed her up and carted her off, she travelled fine on her own, put up with being put in and out of stable, rug on, rug off repeatedly. Was absolutely fine for schooling (her first time in indoor school), with others going round with her. Had a very large syringe of blood removed for testing and stood on weigh bridge! Boxed up and journeyed home like a pro.
According to the FEI vet we should be looking to do a 50 miler by the end of the season
Think I'll plan for 64km (40 miles) just to be on the safe side...
Her saddle fits fine too (which is a relief) and the physio says she's tight through the neck and glutes, so will be getting that seen to shortly. Now hoping the ice has melted enough to start getting her out fittening, starting with 2 weeks of walking up and down hill. A good day (if a bit chilly) |
