Kashmir soon led from Belle De Nuit with Rasma close up. They went too fast and on entering the straight had pulled well clear of Floral dancer and the struggling Benha.

Belle de Nuit looked to have won the battle up front but folded a furlong out leaving Rasma the chance to win but she too was out on her feet and the two stragglers made up fully 12 lengths in the final furlong to take a hand in the finish with Floral Dancer appearing to fairly sprint home and take the race in the final strides. The result of this race is unlikely to provide much guidance for the future.

Spring Psalm led from Shasta Bree Tarkaan who was always going well and enjoyed the drop in grade. He ran on well to lead in the straight and was never seriously challenged.

Sugar dandy had evry chance but looked tapped for speed whilst Field of Dreams was another who probably needs a little further.

Arctic Lord and Spring Harmony both running off automatic top weight, (a mark of 85) ran their best races to date. Hardtoback was  a disappointment over his ideal trip.

Irak Ibn Egis led until 3f out but then faded. Just Taurean was ridden 10 lengths off the rest of the field and found little under pressure.

Phaymon was in a good position 3 furlongs out but probably didn't stay the trip. Island Star had every chance in the straight but couldn't match majestic Omar and the issue was never in doubt a furlong from home.

Island Legend led but Pavot Al Kyle took it up at half way and was always doing just enough to stay in front. They all came at him to put down challenges but Razif was too late only running on when it was all over.

Benedikt ran a good race and made the winner pull out more in the final furlong after Al Reeh Janoob and Fayre Abi had been beaten off.

Millenium Ibn Procyon led but was soon passed by CS Lafaz who seemed to have gone too quickly but it wasn’t until the final furlong that he gave way. There were three in a line a furlong out and Ares De Chevagne made Olivphaya give her all in just getting home in a thrilling finish. Charan El Nefous came from off the pace but never landed a blow and was nearest at the finish.

Sakit Sura and Cassariah were prominent but entering the straight Doriket was cruising into the lead only to find Gaynif on his inside and going even better. The winner is notorious for stopping when in front but this time he was held up until the final furlong and lengthened his stride to go clear. Pha Khamoun ran on well to take third but the others never threatened.
