RACE SUMMARY

Mural de Feu was sent into the lead and was always prominent, running up the far rail in the straight. SA Anothersam ran her usual game race from the front leading most of the way until collared by the winner in the final 100 yards.

Altayarah came to win in the final furlong but could find no more. L’Enchanteur Royale was ridden much closer to the pace than in his previous races and came with a well timed challenge up the favoured middle of the track. He performed 3 stone better than before. Ermelo again ran wide on the home turn and his run is best forgiven.

RACE SUMMARY

Toalogo led for 5 furlongs then took a breather leaving Great Lady in front a long way from home. Although she looked to be cruising the mare found nothing when challenged in the final furlong and didn`t help her cause by sticking to the unfavoured far rail. She is better over a shorter trip and needs to be held up at this sort of distance. Tzarinsky ran his best race of the season and for a while looked as if he might cause a shock but Toalogo came with his second wind and was too good. Spring Psalm was held up today and was beaten before the home straight.

It was announced after the race that the winner is to be retired, going out on a winning note. He has been most consistent.

RACE SUMMARY

Dhrousha was left 10 lengths at the start and was never nearer.Benika was always prominent and ran up the unfavoured far rail. Island Rover didn’t get an uncontested lead today and could never relax.

Doraman ran his usual consistent race coming from off the pace to be 3rd yet again. Refarri Xedos ran well again but found one too good in the rejuvenated Sa Arc En Ciel who came through two furlongs out and ran on gamely to the line.

RACE SUMMARY

Another fast time and an impressive burst of speed in the middle of the race sealed victory for Djemila De Leyre completing a treble for the trainer.

There seemed to be no excuses for Sanji who wasn`t good enough at the weights. He has won a lot of races but crept a bit too high in the handicap as a result. Pleinne D’Amour ran well and is probably better suited by a little further. The others aren’t slow but were out of the handicap, carried overweight and couldn`t sustain the pace in this hot contest.

RACE SUMMARY

This was run in a slow time and they finished quite close together which flatters the beaten horses. WFA Dodi was sent into the lead after losing interest at the back of the field last time. He was in front only as long as the others wanted and when Bengaliya led on the home turn she was still cantering.

Komandor came with what looked like a winning run only to find Bengaliya laughing at him as she lengthened her stride to win as her rider pleased. She was 12lbs well in and the race was not run to suit Komandor who needs a stronger pace at this distance.
