Gerri, 23 is only middle age for an Arab and try not to worry Prascend will d/w the symptoms of Cushings and prevent the dangerous health side effects like Laminitis. My advice as past diagnostic googler is only worst case scenarios are posted on line. I have learnt my lesson. Take advice from your vet who knows your horse and you x

Ari is right - googling can frighten you to death; I did it when I was first ill and still undiagnosed and got in a real state about it. 5 years later I am not in perfect health but I'm not dead either!

Gerri, I have replied in the other thread - totally agree with Garnet and Ari Google is not always your friend. Hope all goes Ok and you wonder what you were worried about in a few weeks.

Sorry to hear about Milly, my mare was diagnosed with cushings this year but the result was just borderline, as a result of this Rossdales at Newmarket did a test on her to see if she can manage the cushings herself without medication which she can and they have said to re test next year to see it it has got any worse it may be worth speaking to your vet about it.

Glad you have decided to go with all the good advice as regards the Prascend.
I'm sure you will soon have your horse back to her old self.
I sure that not only me drew a sharp intake of breath at the cost of livery £800 per month???
What exactly are you getting for that incredible cost?
Sorry, not my business I know but just seems rather a lot for you for one horse.
Hope you see an improvement in Milly soon.
