That's fantastic! So pleased for you that soon all of your saddle problems will be a thing of the past! If you don't mind me asking, where are you based? And where is this Julia Robertson based?! xx |

I am glad you got on with the Lavinia saddle, how lucky you can buy one and it will fit both, this is the beauty of the shim numnah, Arabi is a size 3 17" but my other horse would be a size 4 and could take longer as she is 16.3, brilliant if the second hand one will fit not so cheaper is that one a Lavinia or something else?
I would go for a vsd if you get new I think they move better in them if they are straighter cut.
Let us know what you decide x |

I also prefer a VSD for the straighter cut, which frees up the shoulder, I have 2 for different horses (a Bates and an Ideal) and both have plenty of knee roll for those 'moments' when you need them |

I would go with a VSD over a GP as Callisto says it frees up the shoulder, unless of course your thinking of taking up a lot of jumping |

Pinkvboots,at least in your case it's the phone, in my case it's all my own work lol
Do hope your saddle issues are sorted Martha; then you can load up and we can give the Chiltern Hills a good exploring eh? |

I so wish you could have had Lavinia in person I am sure you would have had a much better experience by the sounds of it, but at least you did get some positves from the fitting.
Chiltern hills sounds good when you planning on going there, I am looking for a horsebox at the moment so will have my own wheels soon I could join you |
