I have sent an email to one of the people listed on the stud website. Unfortunately, they are in Belgium, which seems awfully far away. Not sure what they can do. |

Jackiedo, can you pm or email me - barribarrs@hotmail.co.uk - I can help with purchase and home but I'm in Aberdeen so couldn't attend and would have to ask someone to collect, if I had winning bid, and keep until I could organise collection. |

As far as horse auctions go, York is not a bad place IMO.
Many people go looking for a bargain. Its not just about the meat man. Nice stables, reasonably good facilities
Some people take their horses there, so more people can view it, and hope to sell it privately from home at a later date.
Hope he finds a nice home. |

Really hope he finds a good home. He is just gorgeous and there's something about his eyes that really draws me to him.
I just wish I had deeper pockets and could take on another |

It is so great the Lowe's are involved. I didn't want to say anything in case nothing came of it, but I sent an email to the people who own the stallion and they promised they would do their best to get in touch with the Lowe's. Sounds as though with a little help, it would be possible for this young horse to get back into the right hands! :)
I hope someone can help them!! |

If you are not friends with Chris Lowe on FB and are going to the sales you can contact me and I will pass the message on to him, he is in Saudi at the moment so cant get there.
Chris's stud bred him for people that dont know.

Has anyone actually rung the seller? I mean, the ad is on horsedeals. If someone is friends with Chris Lowe, they could give him the number on the ad and he could make a deal over the phone, then send a transporter to get him?
It took all of 5 seconds to track down the ad on google, so it seems this is actually very easy....?

This boy is lovely. I met him whilst looking for my next youngster. He was a colt then, but so gentle and quiet. I do not think he will make 15.3hh at all though. He moves like a dream and has a lovely head, good strong legs and would be a fabulous ridden type (my thoughts at the time anyway). I so hope he can be saved. I had seen him advertised again having been sold on from his breeding stud. I have a video of him somewhere I might be able to post and pics. He's straight Egyptian I believe. He is a bargain and if I hadn't got two foals due I would have snapped him up. He really is lovely!!!! |

The latest.....
Okay, I couldn't resist so I rang the seller. The horse has been cancelled out of the sale. He is still for sale, however, and anyone interested can ring through the original ad. PM me if you don't know where the ad is. |

Sometimes bad things happen to good people and circumstances change. I hope that the owner is successful in placing their horse where he will be appreciated. I know it is not easy finding a home for a 14hh Arab. Too small for what most people want and too fiery for most children as youngsters. Not knocking them here, I have a 14.1hh mare who I adore, but it took me a long long time, and lots of money spent on training to find the right home for Azlan |

So glad to hear this boy was not sent. There was only about 26 lots there and the lowest price was 15 guineas. Makes me shudder where that poor animal is now. Hope Ibn is gelded and broken in. There are plenty of small adults who ride ponies, and depending on his temperament, an experienced child could ride him. |

I much prefer nearer to 14hh than 15hh, I wish all mine were smaller. I would be happy with 13.2hh even, very. Wilz is the smallest, although she measures 14.2hh, she rides 14hh, suits me perfectly. Sadly I think she will end up retired, due to Cushings, hope not. I like the pocket rockets |
