Can't find her in the AHS stud books vols 7 or 8 which cover this period, or in the Arab horse families of Great Britain. Only her name with no breeding appears on Allbreed pedigree. Nothing at all on google. Was she bred abroad?

There was a chestnut mare called Reema born in 1949 by Rissam x Rashma, but that is the closest name I can find.

I think I might have found your Silent Rema and she is a thoroughbred in GSB.
It's quite a unique name and timing fits here.

Silent Rema
brown filly born 1967 bred by Mrs D. M. Rudge
by Remainder
ex Silent Approach, brown filly born 1958 bred by H. C. Vibert

She had
74 Dead foal,
75 Dead foal,
76 bay colt by Doeskin, bred by E. M. Elliott
(have not got any further stud record on her so haven't found Silent Lass)

Silent Approach
by Ralootown
ex Perquisite by Peterborough ex Foolish Virgin.

Count Rish Dor Northlands
was born in 1965

I filled in the info on allbreed.

Looks like there may be links to Gelda Spooner's Gay Presto, who lived in Warwickshire for a time, also near to there was Mikeno & El Meluke (father & son).

Still more to be done..

wow how can i thank you guys... i lost sheree in jan this year after 11 yrs together,, my nan bred her and had her until she was 18 yrs old..Count rish dor northlands was her dad and nan also owned her mum who i only knew as atius until i was given rees pedigree about 2 yrs ago..Ree was the most wonderful ride and would have made a fantastic endurance horse if i had been given her earlier in life but she was still going strong until december last year when she started losing alot of weight.. i had to make that final decision in jan when i was told her heart was failing. but she is now resting in peace (or galloping around at full tilt as usual) on her favourite gallop on the south downs.. if anyone has any relatives of hers would love to see pics,,,,by the way my little lad indie in my sig photo is related through the line of general grant... so i still have a bit of her with me ... thanks again ,,,deb
