I have just finished reading lady Anne Blunt "a Biography" again for the second time. I personally think it would make a terrific film as it has all the makings.
But one poignant paragraph at the end of the book made me think, so I quote:
In the desert sands of Egypt she lies under an eastern Sun in the land of her heart where her memory is held in honour by the natives who make pilgrimages to her tomb.
To them she was the noble Lady of the horses,of the dumb things who cannot speak, yet shall speak for her as long as the Arabian horse exists : and somewhere in another world she may know it and be glad ; unquote I wonder?

Hi Lynda, the book arrived today - thankyou!![D] I've got the house to myself, logburner going, hot chocolate and a bar of chocolate next to me. Utter bliss!! Thankyou and I'll let you know when I've finished it and sent it back to you recorded.
