Is there any evidence that this is true? What is being done to help the horses? Are the rspca/whw involved?

I really don't no if it's true or not saw the page on facebook (groups) Bank end rescues revealed which also had the following link http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/bankendequinerescue/signatures? Which has many different people saying basically same thing somewhere on there it mentions that RSPCA was on site and had to pts at least one of the poor horses. I don't think u can just turn up to visit as it's got a phone number to contact her as it's only about hour away from me I really hope it's not true I can't stop thinking about these horses

Ive no idea if this is genuine or not, the rescue itself has posted on a few websites denying these allegations (sorry i cant point anyone to any of these posts as it was a few weeks ago i saw them, i know one was on the H&H website). It seems to me alot of mud slinging is going on between several of the online rescue sites, of which BERR was involved in. From what ive read they are all as bad as one another, one even masquerading as a rescue when in fact shes actually a dealer. A very sad state of affairs!! The trouble is some rescues seem to think they are above the law, i had dealings with one many years ago & was absolutely appalled at the conditions some of the horses were in, i did complain to various people, as did many others, but nothing was done & they are still up & running. |

Hi again just recieved the following email I just hope all the horses are going to be ok
Meeting of the Trustee's of Bank End Equine Rescue, (referred to hereafter as BEER) on Saturday 11th September 2010.
It has been decided by the Trustee's that the establishment known as Bank End Equine Rescue, Charity Number 1134282 is to close as of today's date.
It has been decided that any horses already placed in homes, with a current BEER loan contract/agreement, will be signed over to their current guardians.
All endeavours are now being made to rehome the remaining equines currently in the care of BEER. This is hoped to be achieved in a 4-8 week winding up period.
This has been a unanimous decision by the Trustee's and is in no way an enforced closure, based on recent events, the Trustee's have decided that the situation is untenable to continue.
All the Trustee's would like to thank all those who have supported BEER over the years.
