I have the pleasure of having GAY VADAVAR the most gentle honest stallion come to join us. Although he is in his senior yrs, he still has the presence and attitude of the great horse he is. If anyone has any past information on this great horse. It would be greatly appreciated.

I havent much info for you but I remember him from a while ago when they used to show him at Haydock Park.

I think he was owned by someone near Wigan??? I could be wrong.

Glad he is still going and sounds happy.

Looked in some old stud directories for you :
In the early 1990's he was owned by Miss Samantha Baldwin of Heron Jodge Farm stud in Wigan. He was foaled in 1986.
I'm sure I remember him on the show circuit in the early 1990's but my brains not in gear yet today!!

He was shown quite a bit in the North-West area. Whereabouts do you live?

I had a gelding by Gay Vadavar,Azeem Sahir or Jim for short .He was 'forward going but safe'a very fast ,enjoyable ride .I was fortunate to have him for two years before he unfortunately died of bottulism very suddenly.He was undoubtedly one of the best horses I have ever ridden and owned.His mum was Chiana who was also owned by the Baldwins.Jim was dark bay .My neighbour has two grey arabs sired by Gay Vadavar.
