hi all. i've just started to help out with a grey arab gelding called G.DUMIER. his date of birth is 11/07/95.he is by EL SALEEM and out of DUETTE. the younge girl that owns him has had him for about three years. she has done a bit of showing with him about two years ago. i am interested in his earlier days as a youngster. i dont know if he was bred in the uk or wether he was imported. i plan to show him under saddle, but he does need some schooling as he has'nt done much for a while.i would be grateful for any information.

hi Jo. I don't remember the name, 95 was when i had my little boy, but I know the parents very well. He was born in the uk, at Millfield Stud, M r Gucci's. Duette was a lovely big crabbet mare, white, with a mega trot and El Saleem is 'golden cross' double El Shaklan, and was lovely, of course famously the sire of Rusleem. El Saleem is now gelded!!!!!! But it looks like yours has a good ped for ridden showing! Good luck with it, Tina

Sad to hear about El Saleem, didn't know he had died, I think Penny's friend had him, a lady called Aoriel(?) don't think that's spelt right!! It is a great shame......If he could produce Rusleem, what else could have come along.....makes you think? Jo, I have a ridden gelding, we are going to Wessex tomorrow, so after this it's of to bath and clean tack!!! Am trying to look up about Duette, don;t think she did anything other than be a mum, but will try and find out. She had a colt in 87 called Syeed. by Donax. Think it stayed as a stallion, will keep trying... Tina

Hi jo. My boy charlie....Insh'allah Ibn Damas is 15.1hh chestnut with 4 white socks and a big white blaze, he's lovely!! He was 3rd at wessex, which we were really pleased with! I had him for nearly a year now, having lost my mare, and I have found a replacment for the irriplaceable!! If that makes sense! What are you up to with your boy? Tina.
