This may seem a strange request but if you don't ask you don't find out.
I am involved with a group who are raising money for the charity Help for Hero's, we are organising a 'yomp' across dartmoor on the third weekend in september, there are several groups going along , patients from the rehab( Henley Court) who are going in wheelchairs with teams of vollunteers to help at the bad bits, walkers, and one soldier who was blinded in afghanistan(ex horseguards) who is going to do it on my arab azzi and a friend who will escort him on another purebred you may know buddie (marachino moonbeam) we are going to meet at princetown and I am using my trailer to clear up after everyone has passed through the check points, BUT here is the question
Has anyone got ,or know of a field near the plume of feathers Princetown that we could use a bit of for turnout (or stabling) we can use electric fence to corrall the boys , but need them close by.
it would be needed for 2 nights fri and sat.

Firstly, well done you. Have you asked the Landlord of the Plume of Feathers presumably he will have his finger on the pulse around there, the Prison also owns a lot of land, could ask them?

| we are using the plume for the hog roast and all the events surrounding it , also have booked most of their rooms and camping facilities, never gave a thought to asking there for the horses??!! will have to ring, does he have land there too then? |
