hi everyone
i was wondering if anyone knows any info on my 9 year old mare G Asdiqa (Artist x berezena) or of her parents iv traced her sire but cannot find alot of info on either of them would love to know more!

thanks my other horse doesnt have any papers so iv never looked into it before!!never realised how far back u could trace!lol

Hi Wheelie,
I know G Asdiqa -she was bought by Clarendon stud along with her mum Berezna out of Gucci sale. G Asdiqa raced several times and won a 6 furlong handicap at Brighton, she wasn't the best race horse but had plenty of heart and very pretty if I remember. Brezena is unraced but her dam Buka produced Al Aasi who has won 3 races in the Uk over 7 furlongs at Exeter and 2 miles at Chepstow, he is now doing advanced endurance. So you have quite a nice performance pedigree there. Artist stands at Susan George's stud and won races in Russia and UK and is half brother to multiple Group winning stayer Sambist. Sambist stands at Umm Qarn who also own Buka check out their website for more details. Sue Brunton from Clarendon can give you details of Asdiqa's race history. Berezna is up north somewhere and had a foal by GR Ameretto last year as he was advertised on this site.

hey thanks paul.iv only just found out about the gucci sale and thus what the G stood for i was wondering if she was one of them.hehe i can see why she didnt make a very good race horse bless her (though me and my mum do think shed go faster if u put a bale of hay at the end of the track! )im glad to here her dam is ok.i know that asdiqa, her dam and her half sister were sold from clarendon.Her half sister came to my yard with asdiqa!
i shall get in contact with clarendon it will be interesting to know her race results (how ever bad lol) |

Berezna is just down the road from me - I'll tell Alex ( her owner ) you were asking about 'B'. She did indeed have a very nice colt by Amaretto and proir to that a lovely Ffatal filly. Now she's having a rest !
PS I should imagine your mare has huge eyes !!!! |

| hi, i dont know if this helps but a few weeks ago i was chatting to a friend whom i belive purchased g.asdiqa and her sister from claradon a few years back, we were talking about her as the lady who purchased her from them had never collected her papers?? she said she had sold her on again and was hoping to pass on papers?? my friend i think still has them?? im not 100% sur that this is the horse youre looking for? i think she was chestnut? amanda. |

| hey i have G Asdiqa's papers and passport she is indeed chestnut her sister is liver chestnut her name was cs sheznaar(spelling?) i do not know if her new owner had her papers or not. i know she was sold localy |

| hi, it may be the others papers she had??? but they did own g.asdiqa but i will double check? if its the same horse they would have possible raced her as they are racing people! they are in dorset they will have full records of there horses so i can ask if you like? amanda |

that would be great!thanks!though i think it is probably the people i brought her from as i am in dorset!iv had her about four years so im cheating on the new owner bit lol!!my other horse wheelbarrow came from them too originaly he is 22 now! it may be her sister who was sold that way i do not know if she was sold on again or not!!
