Posted - 06 Oct 2015 : 07:16:50 AM There is nothing negative attached to this, it was a successful loan, it's just that the girl who had him is studying for her A levels and does not have time to ride, there are some good families out there who loan horses, I think it's especially important to remember that when there have been so many recent tragedies, and, from our point of view, since his mother died a couple of years ago, apart from our recent purchase of a pony for the grand children, we have been horseless, so it's win win really. He is shorter than we would like, but we are going to give it a good go, because I am sure he will carry my daughter easily. If not, then maybe next spring he will look for another loan home. |
