Wow that youngster is 3/4 the same lineage as Woody just the dam was out of a different mare. Woody is Roe Aseel X Sameon sun satin (who was by legend alpine must). He couldn't of been sold until at least 2013 as my boy who born in May 2014 was by him at Sameon stud |

I have often wondered where he went he is such have a lovely horse I saw him at Round oak the few times I went, I hope his okay perhaps his new owner might see this thread. |

Roe Aseel was indeed exported to France in 2012 since when he seems to have gone to ground. As of the end of January he has not been licenced to cover (agreé) in other words the owner has not performed the necessary health checks, vaccinations etc)and therefore is unable to purchase the covering certificates.Furthermore, it would appear that he has not been officially imported as the Haras Nationaux website declares:

ROE Aseel is currently in France, Sarah has sold him. Shame as nice stallion. Threw some amazing palaminos for Sarah. |

A friend of mine, Lindsay Hunt(Wildrose Stud, near Hitchin Herts.), owns and stands at stud his full brother Balmaran, if that is any interest? |
