Posted - 11 Sep 2014 : 9:37:25 PM Has gone up in flames and lots of poor defenseless unfortunate dogs have died. Unlucky enough and have suffered enough to end up there and unlucky enough when they should have been safe to die like that. They are appealing for dog stuff like beds, crates etc to get up and running and help the survivors, they also have a just giving page. I have sent them a small donation - can anyone else help? |

Posted - 14 Sep 2014 : 12:46:41 PM Quarabian, you are a kinder and more forgiving person than me. I worked with teenagers for 30 years and can well believe there is a reason but not a justification, whatever the facts, for his action. |

Posted - 14 Sep 2014 : 12:43:53 PM No excuse whatever but maybe if we can find out WHY we can put steps into place to make sure it never happens again. If he was vulnerable before he's vulnerable now. A disgrace to humanity |

Posted - 14 Sep 2014 : 09:37:25 AM Sorry but no tolerance from me as far as the little s**t is concerned, hope he gets whats coming to him. He is old enough to know better, no excuse at all ever for what he has done. |

Posted - 14 Sep 2014 : 12:17:30 AM That was me who asked for tolerance on FB.
He did a very bad thing. But he is still a vulnerable youth. Papers said he was attacked by a dog, which does not justify this vile act but we do not know all the facts. |

Posted - 13 Sep 2014 : 8:31:36 PM Agreed Garnet. Think I am turning into "angry of a certain age" but there are a lot of things happening in this country at the present that would benefit from the "tolerance my arse" approach as the innocent human and animal victims deserve to be first in line for protection. |

Posted - 12 Sep 2014 : 9:22:22 PM I wonder if the 14 yrs old did it for a reason or out of sheer idiocy…... |

Posted - 12 Sep 2014 : 8:48:02 PM It's horrific to think of what the poor lost dogs went through. A 14 yr old boy in custody, what a dreadful thing to do and why? Won't post my thoughts and feelings about the "arsonist" cos you know them as we share same view. Being positive, fabulous local people who rushed out to to help and Pets at Home for making it easy for us to donate and their practical help.

Posted - 12 Sep 2014 : 07:13:52 AM Woke up to the news, a 14 year old boy being held, hopefully with access to a lot of animal lovers as sab2 said. Those poor dogs had already had a sad life. I gave my dogs an extra cuddle and reminded them how lucky they are, I shall donate jackiedo, every little helps. Just seen this... Please share, this is wonderful from Pets at Home https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10154667286885372&substory_index=0&id=64543005371
