Posted - 07 Apr 2014 : 10:09:04 PM Boultons not a problem, you would sometimes confuse him with a mare. He has quite a presence and attitude at timyyes. All done in the best possible taste of course. If you ever see his breaders in the future, give them a massive thank you from me for breeding such a wonderful horse. He is a massive part of my life. |

Posted - 06 Apr 2014 : 09:31:36 AM Thank you Jean. If you see them again please give them Andrea and Brian's best wishes. Used to love visiting the stud but as you get older time days seem shorter and there is no time for longer trips. Any pictures of Kathuria? She is from a lovely dam's line. |

Posted - 05 Apr 2014 : 3:34:16 PM Welcome to AL
You should introduce yourself and your boy in the general discussion section.
Although it doesn't include photos of his parents, if you follow the link below to his pedigree, choose the reports tab on the top left and choose photos, it takes you to all the photos of his ancestors which have been posted on allbreedpedigree

Posted - 04 Apr 2014 : 5:34:45 PM Thank you everyone for your input on Kathuria. I have entered this enquiry on my friends forum as at the time I was not a member. I am now on the forum under my horses name Kathuria known as Kit. Are any of the photos included of his family. I would love to see his parents. I have had horses for many years, but never one like him he is quite a character. A beautiful and loyal boy, I absolutely adore him!!!!! |

Posted - 04 Apr 2014 : 1:20:45 PM Yallas was imported by Park Arabians who bred the mare, Kaprianna. Stud owners are Les and Brenda Wright who we knew really well but have lost touch and I was going to put a post on here asking if anyone knew how they were. They are lovely people. |

Posted - 03 Apr 2014 : 6:14:07 PM Well done Gardenia Yallas is one spelling I didn't try!
I have corrected the entry on allbreedpedigree to reflect this, looks like Yallas' breeding is all Russian as his dam's ancestors all go back to Tersk too. |

Posted - 03 Apr 2014 : 5:33:49 PM It's not Yallis, it should be Yallas by Menes x Yakima by Nizjni. Yallas looks to have been bred in the Netherlands and went to the UK in 1997. The Russian connection is presumably his sire Menes, who went from Russia to the Netherlands, the United States, Belgium and Germany. |

Posted - 03 Apr 2014 : 3:59:19 PM Here is his pedigree from allbreedpedigree, but unfortunately it only contains his dam's breeding, I will see if I can find out more about 'Yallis'

PS - is Yallis the right spelling? Do you have any more info on this stallion (from your gelding's passport perhaps?) - I can't find any reference to him from a general search on the internet. |
