Posted - 21 Sep 2009 : 11:03:09 AM The Wales and West Arab Show will take place on 15th May 2010 at the Broome Event Centre, Crick, Chepstow. It will be a C International Show
The judges are:-
Pure bred males Jay Constanti (USA) Pure bred female Ingali Martennson (Spain) AA/PB in hand Charlotte Rowell (tbc) Novice Ridden Joanna Smith Open Ridden Liz Needham Crabbet (tbc)
As I know personally how expensive it is to show and with the cost of stabling becoming exorbitant it has been decided to drop the price of the stabling down to £20 per night.
To encourage more Anglo and part bred exhibitors to this early show their entry fees will be £10 per horse per class.
I do hope that this will help all exhibitors to come and take part in this prestigious show. |

Posted - 24 Sep 2009 : 6:11:00 PM Hi Sue
Can i just check, if its to be an International C show, are the rules about flu jabs twice a year (6 monthly intervals) being enforced, or have ECAHO dropped that now? (I may be behind with the news!)
Many thanks,
Mary
Oh, to answer my own question, I've just checked the ECAHO website and they seem to have dropped this back to 365 day boosters. Does anyone know when this happened? Are all the C shows going back to International status? I recall they all went to National status to avoid being caught by this? |

Posted - 23 Sep 2009 : 6:34:25 PM Thanks Sue for the early notification and arranging some outstanding International judges.
Hi Jean - cash prizes can not be given for ECAHO classes but as far as I am aware there are no rules about this for any other classes.
Hi Abby - I am sure that your very kind donation of prizes for next year's show is very much appreciated.

Posted - 21 Sep 2009 : 11:34:17 AM Scarlet Arabians, Is it permissable to give prizes or even prize-money in the AA/PB classes as they are not governed by ECAHO? Perhaps you or Sue know the answer?

Posted - 21 Sep 2009 : 11:30:01 AM Thanks for acknowledging the Anglos and Part-breds. Let's hope the more realistic entry fees/stabling will bring out the one horse and local AA/PB owners.
