British Team finish 5th. in European Championship
6th. in Open Championship:
Barroco D'Alva in Portugal, hosted the European Endurance Championships on 8th.
September 2007:- 20 Countries fielded 88 starters with 36 completions.
The British Endurance Riding Team of Sally Hall riding Sire deBozouls, Fiona
Hamilton riding Sharifah, Nicky Sherry riding Shimmering Blue Jasmine, and Chris
Yeoman riding Farouk De Lozelle, put in a terrific performance riding competitively
from the start, gradually moving up the field throughout the day. Fiona finished
in 20th place, Chris in 23rd. place and Nicky 34th. . Sally was unfortunately
eliminated at Vet Gate 4 .
Susan Hawes riding Jade Rani and Jayme Bone riding Krayaan Jesra rode as individuals,
Susan finished in18th.place, a terrific result, Jayme was unfortunately eliminated
at Vet Gate. 3 .
Winner - Mubarak Khalifa Al Shafya- UAE -riding Zakah Zahara at a speed of 19.115kph
Second - Jean Phillippe Frances - France -at a speed of 19.077kph
Third - Jaume Punti Dachs - Spain - at a speed of 19.074kph
